Search By People Search Engines
By Michael Tait
Welcome to the Search By Net website. It is estimated that almost one third of all searches on Google are people searching for other people, thus the increase in the various people search engines.
People Search Engines
Therefore, we have gathered here all the major people search engines, information search engines, and public records search engines. You will also be able to search court records, state records, criminal records, and government records (see the very bottom of the page.)
With these you can perform background checks, genealogy research, records search, person search by name, search by phone number, search by cell phone number, find email address by name, and search by email address.
In other words, we will be searching for people by name, phone number, or email address. Apart from free people search engines which have limited results, below you will find details about several of the different search services that are available.

Nowadays, it is important to know with who you are dealing with; whether it is hiring a new employee or a new Nannie. Thankfully it is now very easy to do thanks to the Internet. The leaders in the field of background checks is Background Report 360.
It is said that Background Report 360 can give you a background check on anyone in 60 seconds; all you have to do is search, register, and view the report. In my experience it takes about 2 or 3 minutes but still for the amount of information you will receive on an individual it is still impressive.
What Information Will You Receive?
- State and Nationwide Criminal Check
- Address History and Phone Number(s)
- Bankruptcies, liens, and judgments

Reverse Cell Phone Number Searches
Cell Phone Registry or the National Registry of Cellular Numbers (NRCN), is the leading provider of reverse cell phone searches.
When you search, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know whether the number is a cell phone, landline, or even an unlisted number because their powerful tool searches multiple databases of cell phones, landlines, and unlisted phone numbers.
In their database, Cell Phone Registry have over 250 million cell phone numbers, almost 1.5 billion landlines, and nearly 18 million unlisted numbers.
After making a search and paying, your “Search Results Access” fee will grant you access to the Member’s area, which is a one stop source for all your information needs. Inside the Member’s area you will see the powerful combination of over 30 different searches, tools, and resources to help you in your investigation process.
The Member’s area is divided into two types of searches, Direct and Unlimited. The Search Results Access fee will also be your Direct search balance; you can perform various direct searches with this balance.
When paying, you have the option of paying an extra $4.95 for Unlimited Access which includes 1 Year of Unlimited Phone Searches, People Searches, Neighborhood Check, Business Searches, Relative Search, Reverse IP Search, and many other search types.
Forward and Reverse Email Lookup
Email Finder lets you perform a reverse email search, e-mail address lookup and email trace. By making use of Email Finder’s proprietary directory, you can conduct a reverse email lookup by entering an email address to lookup anyone.

When searching an email address, you can uncover public records, phone book sources and other online databases of the owner’s identity. A reverse email lookup is useful for locating a long lost relative using only their email address, to re-connect with old friends from high school, or to verify a person’s contact information from your e-mail address book.
At Email Finder, you can also perform a forward email lookup or search email address by name. This is the opposite of a reverse email lookup as here you know the person’s name but you want to find out their email address. Try it now – just enter a person’s name in the box below:
Similar to the other services above, Email Finder is a paid membership. You can pay a one-time fee for one report or you can become a member for one year. The yearly membership is the best deal as it costs less than paying for just two reports. The membership includes:

- Email header analysis to find out more information about a specific email
- Unlimited people searches (U.S. households)
- Deep web crawl search

- Blacklist checker
- Plus more
Email Finder also offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, the same as Phone Detective above. Unlike the two services above, your membership at Email Finder will automatically renew upon expiration at the same price and terms. However, you will receive a reminder email before your membership expires so you can decide to continue or to cancel your membership.

Summary of Search By People Search Engines
For a small fee, the above services are more than just people search engines. From the above descriptions you should be able to tell which of them are suitable for your needs. All the services come highly recommended as leaders in their respective fields.
Also, all of them use Clickbank as their payment processor which includes secure checkout and a 60 day money back guarantee to protect their customers. Now with the Internet, there is no limit to the types of search by people search engines that are available.
There are many other people search engines available; take a look at the very bottom of this page to see them all.

This was very interesting, is this how these telemarketers get phone numbers that they weren’t given so they can call and harass you about buying something or signing up for something? I find it really un-cool that if a person pays enough money they can get your unlisted number and start calling you, that is the whole point of having an unlisted number in the first place. How is that legal anyway?
You are right Gladys that it isn’t correct that people can get hold of your unlisted number. However, you can “opt-out” of the directories from companies that offer reverse phone look ups. In the case of Phone Detective, the opt-out system prevents your information from appearing to users that visit Phone Detective. However, it does not remove your records from the source databases, over which they have no control.
Unfortunately, there are dozens of people search engines, so you would have to visit each one and opt out. There are also privacy companies that offer services to keep your private information out of all of the source databases; however you have to pay a monthly fee for these services.
Wow! It’s amazing how many different people search engines are available. I can’t believe how much information can be dug up about anybody. Kind of scary! On the other hand, I can see the benefit of doing a complete background check on someone; like investigating a potential employee for a sensitive position.
